- Assissted with the development of a regional ballast water management plan, helped plan a conference regarding ballast water exchange, and gathered shipping traffic data along the eastern United States and Canada

- Researched and compiled listing of marine biological monitoring programs along the Gulf of Maine to establish cooperative relationships and maximize utilization of resources for an invasive species monitoring program
